Last night, my friends and I went to a Taylor Swift concert. It ended at about 11:30 PM, and by the time we got back to our car it was 12:30 AM. We were all starving since we hadn’t had dinner, and we were craving chips and salsa. We went to Harris Teeter and we were pretty much the only people there. One of our friends bought a calzone while we went to the chips and salsa aisle. We also got cheese to melt on the chips. And we got the largest jar of salsa that I have ever seen. It was pretty exciting. My friends used self-checkout to pay for the stuff. I’ve never lived in the United States; I live on an island, so I had never seen a self-checkout line until I moved to Elon last year. They still kind of creep me out so I kept my distance. Then we all fought about which movie we should rent from Red Box. I wanted to watch “Obsessed” and I won the argument. We went back to my friends house in Charlotte and had a mini dance party and made the nachos, and then started watching the movie. By then it was 2:30 AM, and we all fell asleep within the first 20 minutes of the movie, so after all of the arguing no one even got to watch a movie. It was a pretty unforgettable weekend.
